Animangaki Idol 2013 Audition

13th July - Saturday.

I joined the auditions for Animangaki Idol 2013, but sadly I didn't make it into the preliminaries. :/

I was kinda sad, but the I wasn't all that sad because to be honest, I secretly think that the judges is kinda abit erm, bias. Then Bryan said it too. Well, after that I felt really better, lol guess I really didn't suck that bad..

And I'll be honest here, while singing, I thought I did kind of bad. I'm not making excuses, but on that day I was having flu, and while singing, there's stupid phlegm in my throat, which makes me uncomfortable, and I can't reach the high pitch. My nose was partly blocked, so it was a bit hard for me to breath, and I sound like I have no stamina. :/

But then after watching the video of me singing, I felt that it wasn't that bad. And I felt kind of sad that I wasn't chosen to be in the preliminaries. I was actually put into the waiting list first, but meh there's 39 peopel participating I think, and more than 25 people got put into the waiting list. I think only 5 people made it into the preliminaries on the spot, and I think 3 or 4 person got eliminated on the spot.

The judges told me that my song choice suit me, and I knew it myself haha. It was Just Be Friends piano version. Initially I didn't plan to sing this, I plan to sing Len's Namae no Nai Uta. But during the Singapore trip, Bryan and Swee told me I should just sing Just Be Friend. It did cross my mind before that, but I guess I'm just too chicken to decide, cause of the high notes and the song was really long. And I was scared because it's so emotional.

But in the end just changed my mind lol. Glad I did, because I touched the audiences heart. They were feeling for me, and I was told that some of them were actually teary eyed. ;w; Some of them were like, 'MY FEELS.' or ' MY KOKOROOOOO'. (Kokoro means heart.) And I'm glad to be able to reach out to them, this song means so much to me.

This made me feel satisfied enough already, even if I did not make it into the preliminaries.

And well, even if I did not made it into the preliminaries, I think I'll still be using the stage with my band :D As a keyboardist and back up singer though. Haha.

To be honest the only reason I want to get into the preliminaries was so that I can play Gackt's Last Song on my keyboard, and sing at the same time lol. I wasn't in any competitive mood. :x

Going to this audition made me some new friends too :D
So glad I went, and so glad I sang Just Be Friends. I was so touched when I saw the audience's reaction, and heard what my friend told me. ;w;

She sang Dia no Hana, from Black Cat, it was awesome >w< And she got into to waiting list as well, but then she made it into the preliminary :D

Tony was there, but he didn't join lol, He just watched us all haha.

After the audition, Chii, Me, Bryan, Swee and Tony went to have dinner in Sunway Pyramid. After that we watched Despicable Me 2, Tony excluded. He went into the arcade instead lol.

Despicable Me 2 was okay, I prefer the first one >_< The second one focus too much on the minions, and the story is kind of weird and really simplified? Meh.

Still, it was a fun day out :)

Singapore trip with friends

This trip to Singapore was kind of unexpected.
It was kinda last minute I guess.
I went last week, from 5th to the 7th of July.

Bryan asked me to go, and at first I refused since duhh, a trip to Singapore is damn expensive /___\ I don't have the money for it.

Then he told me I don't need to pay for the hotel, and he'll pay for my bus tickets there and he insist me to go. -_- I refused, but I'm tempted actually lol. Then he told me to just YOLO and GO, and just get away from my home for a few days and enjoys myself.
(I'm actually stressing out at home due to some problem.)

....In the end I gave in. I told him I'll ask my mom first.

I asked, and mom is actually reluctant to let me go, since well I'm honest and I told her I'll be staying in the hotel room with 2 guys, and I'm the only girl. ._.
Mom gave me some excuses and I kinda got mad lol, cause what she said was totally irrelevant about me going to this trip. Meh I'll skip this part, doesn't feel like talking about it.

In the end, I managed to convince her to let me go. (mom said that I'm too stubborn LOL. I won't stop fighting for what I want. Sorry mom ._. ) And well I guess I'm kinda guilty for making her worried ._.

Well, it's decided that I can go then, and before I went I worked as a part time for 2 days to earn a bit so I can spend on the trip.

On Thursday night I packed for the trip, was actually feeling excited. :D

Well on Friday morning, I went to Bandar Tasik Selatan and wait for Bryan and his friend, Swee. (I actually didn't know Swee then, but he's a friend now xD )

We had some breakfast first, then off we go to board our bus.

The bus is quite comfortable, the seats are quite spacious.

Though it's quite an unpleasant ride for me for half of the way. I was needing to go to the toilet badly, but we're like in nowhere and there's no toilet fml fml fml. Worst feeling ever.

But aside from that, I just listened to my Ipod, chat with Bryan and sleep. Swee was sleeping the whole time lol. Oh, and I camwhore lol.

We set off around 11am, and we reach around 5pm I think.
Once we reached, we went to a hawker store and had a really late lunch.
After that, we took a cab to our hotel. Turns out it's a waste, since the driver drove like, less than 2 minutes and voila, we're in front of the hotel =_=

We checked in at Fragrance Hotel, it's located at Lavender.
And it's like 5 minutes walk from the Lavender MRT. There's a 7-11 right beside the hotel main entrance too :D Quite convenient.

The room is damn small though. There's hardly any space to walk around lol, but at least there's a single bed and a queen size bed. I took the single bed of course haha.

Bryan actually left to do some card trading after we put our stuff, leaving me and Swee alone. It was kinda awkward at first since I hardly know him lol. We have some awkward silence for a while, then Swee suddenly asked me to tell him a story lol, and I guess that kinda breaks the ice.

Meh, I'm bad with strangers I guess x__x I can't seem to speak first, but once I've talked a bit I'm okay? lol.

Well after Bryan came back, we took the MRT to Bugis Junction and Swee brought us to a place to have ramen. It's kind of like a Ramen food court, called Ramen Champion. The ramen tasted damn awesome TwT

I ordered Sukiyaki ramen, and it was made by a Japanese :o

Best ramen I ever had *w* But then, that's like the only 3rd ramen I ever had from a japanese restaurant lol.

The place use a great system too, we were given a card each before we went in. When we went to order something, they scanned the card and our order were noted in there. Then we were given a round black plate like thing, and we take it back to the table. When the ramen is done, the black plate thing will beep and vibrate :D

And after we're done eating, we just gave the cashier our card and pay for whatever we ordered. :)

We tried walking back to the hotel after that instead of taking the MRT lol. It's about 15 minutes walk, not actually that far. We took Rei's luggage to pass it back to her since she is staying elsewhere, and her luggage was with Bryan. After we passed the luggage to her, we took the MRT again and went back to Bugis Junction lol.

And headed to the arcade. .........
I'm not a game person, but arcade once in a while is fine I guess. 
We stayed there till almost midnight lol, then back we went to the hotel.
Since we're not sleepy yet, we talked about stuffs, and then somehow it leads to us singing hahhaha.
We sang Pokemon's opening theme, weeeee. Actually Bryan and I sang, (japanese version) Swee can only sing the english version lol.

Well in the end we slept, but no one slept well. I keep hearing our door banging and knocking :/
But I didn't really bother since I thought the banging door was made by either Swee or Bryan going to the toilet, and as for the knocking I thought it was the room next door.

The next day Bryan told us that it was our door that was being knocked ._. Bryan was sleeping just beside the door, and he said he saw a pair of feet outside our door, and he saw the door handle moving wtf. He said the banging and and knocking go on from like 2am till 4am or so.

I asked Bryan why didn't he go open the door and check lol, and he said what is there's no one there.
Well true too I guess haha.

The second day was Cosfest, the guys actually planned this trip for Cosfest. I just tagged along lol, and I cosplay too. But I didn't take any pictures of me cosplaying, I was cosplaying as Lenalee Lee.

Bryan already left early in the morning to some Vanguard event while I still slept like a pig haha. After I woke up Swee and I went down for the breakfast. The breakfast actually sucked lol. Meh.
Then we went up and got ready for Cosfest.

In Cosfest I just hang about, chatting with some friends and took pictures.
Oh, Reika was in Cosfest too, but the fans here is wayyyyy more polite than the Malaysian fans lol, in Malaysia the fans were rushing and screaming like crazy -_- In Singapore, all the fans were queuing up politely :O
I can even get close to Reika lol, though I have to say I'm not actually a fan. I took a picture cause it's funny to see Kaichou kinda like helping Reika suddenly haha. (He's a friend of Reika)

Then Bryan meet up with us, and we watched a stage program, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure thingy. After that we had lunch, back to Cosfest to meet up with Rei and Tony, and then back to hotel.

After Swee and I removed our cosplay makeup  and costume we went back to the same place as last night for dinner since it's too awesome lol. And the guess what, arcade again after dinner wth. But this time I just hang about watching them play, no mood to play any more. Rei didn't play too lol. I just sat with her watching the guys.
But it was okay, even though I wasn't playing it was not boring, kinda interesting in fact haha.

After that we left, went back to the hotel room. Bryan and Tony rushed their costume for the next day lol, and it was kind of amusing.

I tried helping but I wasn't really helpful since I just laughed at them hahaha.

Then because of laughing too much, I have no mood to sleep. -_- But in the end I just slept, got halau-ed to bed by Bryan. lol

That night there's no place for some of them to sleep lol, because Rei and Tony crashed into our hotel room, then Byran's cousin crashed in too lol.

I still have my single bed, but Bryan and his cousin had to sleep on the floor. Poor guys =w=

Rei, Tony, and Swee shared the double bed.

The next morning we spent a rushed our trying to pack up, while fixing up whatever that was not done the night before. And we cut Bryan's wig on the spot lol. -_-

Then we left~ On this last day, I didn't join them. I went to find Jie Jun and have lunch instead :D
Haha, I came to Singapore, must find him xD
I went to Pasir Ris first to drop my luggage at Tony and Rei's chalet, then I took the MRT back to Lavender to meet Jie Jun. -_-
I was an idiot to not straight away give my luggage to the guys to take. lol -w-

Well, had lunch in Wendy with Jie Jun, chat and then we had to leave after around an hour and half. Jie Jun had to go to a library, he was busy studying actually lol. When I arrived in Wendy he was studying while waiting for me.

After he left, I went back to Pasir Ris to join Bryan and friends again.
It was around 4pm then. After I joined them we just stay in Cosfest, and then we went to the chalet to hang around and pass the time. Met some other people, was nice meeting them :)

Finally it was time to go, but then I had to buy sanitary pads wtf cause unfortunate timing.
So I told Swee and Bryan I had to go buy female stuff, and Bryan's like, what is female stuff?
.......I didn't bother explaining lol. I went into Guardian at the MRT station, bought it, and came out again. I told Bryan that that's female stuff while showing him the plastic bag hahahhahahahaa. And Swee was reeling off a bunch of stuff like, "tampons, sanitary pads, pregnancy test, birth control pills, etc" hahhahahhahahaa. Wth xD

Anyway, we left and got to the bus stop. Got into our bus, it was already 9pm that time. And we headed home. In the bus, Swee slept (again haha). Bryan can't sleep, so he chat with me. But he was telling me stuff I don't want to listen to, so I told him to shut up, plug in my Ipod, and tried to sleep.
._.

We stopped in Johor for 30 minutes, and there I ate some bread since I'm damn hungry. Didn't have dinner :/ It was already midnight when we stopped. Then we continued our journey home =w=
We reached Imbi around 3am, and we stayed in a mamak store for about an hour.

At first we planned to stay there till sunrise, but we're all too tired and bored already. Bryan and Swee can actually leave, but they're accompanying me. I didn't tell mom I was coming back so early/late. =w=
I'll surely get scolded lol ._.
Anyway, since we decided it's not ideal to wait till sunrise, I texted cousin Ping and asked if she's still awake. And SHE IS! :D
So she becomes my savior and come out in the middle of the night to Times Square to fetch me TwT
I stayed at her place for the night, and the next day mom fetched me home.

Well that's the end of this trip.

I'm very thankful to Bryan for asking me, and paying part of my expenses .__.
It's starting to seem like I'll never repay him for everything he did/gave me for the past year and half -__- lol.

Anyway, glad I went, I enjoyed myself :)
Even if there's time when I felt frustrated lol.

UTAR ACG Acoustic Performance

Ok, finally had time to sit down and blog about this. Today I went out after lunch, brought Miko and Baby to the groomer. After I got home, I had to do my piano theory work. By the time I done that (which I actually didn't cause there's no time, I had to finish around 4 sets of paper which will take me like...10 hours normally. Just managed to finish 2 sets OTL) it's time to have dinner cause I have to go collect Miko and Baby from the groomer.


After bringing the dogs home, I had to go for my piano theory class. Went at 7.30pm, and finish at around 10.30pm. So yeah =w= And I'll be honest, I haven't taken my bath yet LOL. And I'm too lazy to go take now, meh. I'll take it tomorrow morning hahaha.

Ok back to the topic, the performance was yesterday. I woke up around 9.30am and take my sweet time getting ready since UTAR is like, 5 minutes drive from my house.
I simply pulled on an outfit, and quickly did my make up, simple basic make up.

Lol my makeup is more like no makeup xD Covered my pimples and dark circles, all on a little more brow, super think eyeliner and a coat of mascara. That's all lol.

Outfit is more like casual punky? Meh I don't know what to call it hahaha.

When I got to the place I'm greeted by a commitee member, he's really nice and friendly. He carried my keyboard in while I register.

Minori was already there, and then David reached too.

Then we did sound check, and everything was alright. The sound was a bit soft at first with a lot of buzzing sound, but after adjusting a bit it became normal. While sound checking the emcee keep

announcing us, like repeatedly lol, I'm like, 'omg stop you're making me nervous'. After sound check we went into a classroom to kind of warm up a bit. Sadly we only have like 10 minutes, then up on to the stage we go~ David was nervy hahahhaa, funny to see that cause he's normally the overly relaxed guy.

The first song we did was Whenever You Are by ONE OK ROCK. I didn't do much for this songs, just added some strings effect when Minori and David sang the chorus.

The next song is Last Song by Gackt. That's when disaster happened. On the first note I play, I knew I'm fucked. The keyboard settings was out, everything was super soft and then there's a lot of buzzing and hissing noise. I can't stop since I've started, and I tried to stare at the audio engineers. But somehow it's still soft so I increase the volume on my keyboard a bit. I can't up the volume more because it'll sound really messy, buzzing noise fml.

I have no choice but to just make do with the awful and soft sound, but then when it's my part to sing, the microphone have no sound. Wth. Screw it. Minori had to come and hold her microphone to me, which is fine until the chorus cause she need to sing too. But at least by the time the audio engineer kind of fixed the microphone already.

And as if those happenings wasn't bad enough already, the next disaster was my cable fell out. Fml fml fml. So during a part there's no keyboard, and I'm in the middle of singing shit. I had to try and sing while trying to fix it, but thank god Minori jump in at a part, I can try to fix my cable then.

The emcee came to my rescue too.

During all this all I wanted to do was dig a hole, jump into it and never appear again wtf. 

You might think that this is enough disaster to last me for a loooooong time now, but no, there's still another disaster. After playing Last Song by Gackt, it's time to play This Love by Angela Aki.

Before starting we gave some time to the audio engineer to set the settings on the mixer so that my keyboard won't sound so messy and soft.

We started on This Love after they finish setting, but somehow the sound is worse. It's softer than before, and when I turned up the volume on my keyboard, there's some weird noise accompanying it. Like some drum beat wtf. And worse is, by that time I damn panic and nervy already, I keep playing wrong, but thankfully David helped me to cover up my mistakes. 

This is the worst performance I've ever given. At previous other events, there's some minor technical problem but never have I encountered such stupid technical problems, all coming on top of another.

I'm so pissed off I don't even....asdfghjkl

 

And guess what? They changed the speaker after our performance. So everything was fine after that. They should have changed it before we started playing this love :/ David kinda tell them off for that, it's not like we didn't give them time, but meh. No use crying over spilt milk :/ Plus at least they're very apologetic.  But..arrghhhhh, thinking back it's really embarrassing to me. Adfghjdfgh.

After I started school and have learnt more about audio engineering, I'll set everything myself in the future performance. -_-

Anyway, I left as soon as the event is over. I feel horrible and I don't feel like facing anyone anymore. So screw it, home I go~ David and Minori leave as soon as it's over too.

Minori told me that it wasn't as bad as what I think cause her mom recorded our videos and she said that it sounds okay in the video. I haven't watch it yet so I have no idea, but in my memory of the day, everything was awful. Meh.

I'll update again after I watched the videos, but right now I'm still thinking it's bad. :/

Now to go to bed. I'll be working tomorrow, from 10am to 10pm. Sigh. And I have to be there by 8am for some briefing. OTL 

I'll be working on Sunday too, though on Sunday it'll only be from 10am to 6pm :3

After I work I'll be busy with my piano works again, and settings my stuff like college etc etc etc.

June.

June is coming to and end. Half a year passed :/ Time is moving too fast, it's terrifying.

Anyway, a few updates about how June has been for me and what I've been doing.

On 7th June, I went out with Crystal. We window shopped in the Golden Triangle area.
I asked her out because that time I feel like eating Katsu Kare Rice, and I thought I wanted to try outside's Japanese Curry Rice instead of the usual one that I cook.
If I'm not mistaken I ate at Ichiban Ramen. Lol, I seldom eat Japanese food.

Curry rice *w* Well it's nice, nicer than what I made haha. As for other restaurants, I have no idea. I've never eaten curry rice in other restaurants. This is the first time I ordered curry rice in a Japanese restaurant lol.

We ate in Pavillion. Then we just window shopped all the way to Times Square. It's nice hanging out and chatting with her ^w^

The next day, (8th June) is c2age. At first I don't plan to go, I have no mood to cosplay :/ Nor am I in the mood to meet people. But then since I need to COD stuff with people, I went.

I dressed up punkish, and just hang around with Chii and her teikyo friends.

My outfit of that day. But yeah, it's kinda boring at c2age. Just walked about all over the place then in the end just find a place sit with Chi and chat.

The next day I went to c2age again, but that day I cosplayed, so it wasn't as boring as the first day.

Cosplayed as Nana Osaki from NANA, since she reminds me of myself quite alot. :/

And I love her character xD Her attitude is awesome to me haha.

As usual I just roamed about, then I met Kendrick, Jourdan, and Feito. The 3 photogs xD The shoot me abit, and Kendrick gave me a cigarette lol. I just pretend to smoke, not really smoking and they don't let me try haha. They're like, DON'T YOU DARE SMOKE. lol. 

Then after getting bored of roaming around Chi and I went to the dressing room and we play UNO card. I saw Izabel and Roxas there too so I asked them to join lol.

After that I went to see Harmonia ACG perform. They had some technical difficulties, but it was a nice performance nevertheless. After watching the performance I just kinda hang out with Bryan and Cheesie. Then after that it's time to go home.

Yeah, that about summarize c2age I guess. Quite boring for me, I just have no mood to get hyped :/

After c2age there's not really anything, I spent my days at home practicing piano, watching movie, learning guitar, reading books, go out yumcha with friends at night.

Then some time before 16th of June, Minori messaged me and David asking if we want to do acoustic performance for UTAR Sungai Long's ACG event. We agreed. So the rest of June is spent by practicing for this event, and going to Minori's house for practice.

It's fun, our first practice is on 17th June, I took KTM to Subang and David fetch me from there. 

Lol the first practice wasn't good at all, David is his blur blur 'aiya last minute can practice mood' and I did not practice some songs yet cause I was busy with my classical piano work. Everything was messy haha.

After we're sick and bored of practicing, we went to Setia Walk for dinner. Went to Sushi Tei (I think) and I ordered Curry Rice again hahhaha. I want to compare if it's much different from another restaurant. Hmmm I think Ichiban Ramen's was nicer, but the portion in Sushi Tei is soooooo big. I can't finish at all.

It was nice hanging out and chilling with my band members like that :D Even if it's only 2 of them lol. David was really funny and Minori and I can't help laughing at him, and we don't even know the reason why sometimes lol. Seems like he's like a natural clown.

I hope that there will be chance to hang out with the full band one day.

After dinner, David sent Minori home then he sent me to a lrt station. He doesn't know how to go wth, but he just drove and asked for directions and eventually we got to one. lol. Then he told me to let him know when I got home safely.

On the lrt I received messages from Minori and Bryan too, telling me the same thing, to let them know when I reach home safely lol. I'm like, I very kidnap-able meh? Hahaha.

Anyway it's nice to know that people care :3

The next practice session was on Sunday.

We registered for a workshop that day too, at Wisma Bentley and its by Homegrown School. It's a song writing workshop.

We practiced for some time in Minori's house first, then after that we head for the workshop. It's the first time I've been to Wisma Bentley, and omg its's a whole building of music *o* I played with their baby grand piano too, and it's just so awesome TwT One day I'll have one!

The workshop itself is kinda meh, not really informative for us. :/

After the workshop is finished we ate at McDonald's lol. Then we head home~

On 25th June, we have our last practice session. I brought my keyboard along this time. Everything is kinda settled during this practice session. Except for some reason, Minori and I keep laughing when David's playing Last Song by Gackt. We don't know why we're laughing, but we can't help it. We just look at David and we laugh. Hysterically.

I was singing and playing halfway then I suddenly burst out laughing lol. Laugh till my stomach aches. In the end I just skip my part hahaha.

After practice David and I went to Sunway Pyramid for dinner. He keep asking me where I want to eat/what I want to eat and I keep repeating I dunno. In the end I got tired of him asking and I just say Sunway Pyramid lol. Ended up we ate in Ichiban Ramen.

We talked about our band and music composition stuff, and to be honest it feels relieving to have someone else know what I'm thinking about the band lol. 

Then he sent me to Subang ktm and I took the train home. With my keyboard =w=

It's already night by then, and somehow it feels very anime-ish, me sitting with the keyboard beside me, looking out of the window and listening to music. Hahaha. People were staring xD

Well that's out last practice session. After that came the performance, which is today and I'll update in another post tomorrow night since I'll be busy during the day T_T Need to bring Miko and Baby to the groomer, and I need to complete all my piano theory work. OTL

And so it's planned xD I changed gothic to punk later with Calvin.

I planned a few outfits at first, and send it to Calvin.

In the end we went with the skull one.
I tried the make up, and I like it :D

But then I stupidly got into the wrong train lol. And then when I took monorail, I got down on the wrong station. -_- Guess I'm not so fabulous after all hahaha

And when I finally reach my destination, I got lost again since I've never really been there before -_- Fml. lol. Calvin asked to wait where I am and he'll come get me,  but I wandered away and got to the spot we're supposed to meet hahahhaha. Poor Calvin xD

We started shooting, lol he kept trying to make me laugh. Even though our theme was punk, we're trying to deliver a message where not all punk is those very scary emo looks like they wanna kill people punk.

And me. Lol. I was hyper that day, I kinda forgot how to Joee.
I mean, the me usually was not so hyper, though I'm not emo. Nah nevermind. I can't define me lol.

We shoot at a place for some time, then we walked to another location.
This time I darkened my eye, and darkened my eyebrows. And then I added my sleeves. Haha, got more extreme now.

Calvin shoot me in what he told me was editorial fashion style, where I just walk and do whatever I want and he just shoot. And he got throw out compliment like, 'Yes, that's awesome; beautiful; nice; woahhh', etc etc, you get the idea haha.

And I'm like,

But there was some time when I ran out of ideas and I'm like, WHAT U WANT? when Calvin asked me to continue walking hahaha.
Then when we're done and we revealed the pictures, there's quite some 'WHAT U WANT' pose shots and Calvin called me the 'WHAT U WANT LADY'. lol

We did 2 round of shoots, and then we went to Burger King to have lunch. Spend quite a long time filtering the pictures since there's ALOT lol. But I love it, turns out so much better than I expected, I didn't I could look so awesome hahahahhahaha. Magic of Calvin :D

Went home using the monorail and KTM this time, with Calvin.
There was a point when he laughed at a guy stating at me and the guy awkwardly looked away lol, and I actually had no idea that happened until he told me later. Haha.
As usual, I got more stares from people, but I like it LOL.
Who doesn't love attention right? xD

Well, I'll update again when I got the photos, but he told me it might take about a month, since he have a lot of other shots to edit. Nevermind, I can wait >:D

Job at Beautiful Homes Expo

Another job update! Was going to update about this together with my previous post, but by the time I finished my previous post it's already past midnight and I want to sleep lol. So posting it now instead.

This job is more recent, I worked from 15th - 19th May.  It's an event, Beautiful Homes Expo, and it starts from 17th till 19th May. It's located at Viva Home Expo Hall.

I found out about this job on a group in Facebook, and I called to apply.
Then I got accepted weeee, along with Crystal too :D
So we're working together again.

We're told that we will be promoters, but then we start work on 15th May. The Expo starts on 17th May. Crystal and I were like, 'What will we do on the first 2 day? Don't tell me we have to help set up =A=' lol. Turns out we kinda have to, but more on that later.

On the first day of work, we took the KTM and transit to lrt.
We reached kinda early, so we just hung around the not-yet-opened mall and use their wi-fi to get online haha.

When it's time, we meet with the person in charge with us, Kelly.
We're told to go get some stuff from her car, and bring it up. 
That's when I thought that Crystal and I really are doomed, we'll be repeating the setup process like in Big Bad Wolf, which is very tiring.

We're wrong. Haha, all we ever did for setup was bring the stuff up form the carpark (just a few plastic bags containing tags and tissues) and after that, we just sit around a registration counter, sorting tags and passes, and giving them to exhibitors and contractors that came to setup their booth.
Was an easy day :D Plus Crystal and I got to walk around the mall cause we're asked to buy stuff, and buy food :3 We get to choose what food we want to eat yayyyyy xD

On the second day, Crystal's dad fetched us there. But we got there like, an hour and half earlier.
So Crystal and I took the lrt and I brought her to Central Market lolol. We just wasted our time sicne it's not opened yet. But at least Crystal got to see Central Market and the towns in KL xD

This day was pretty much the same thing as the first day, except that we had to set up a press board. We have to paste up newspaper cuttings about the expo and the advertisement for the expo. (though I don't see the point of doing that lol)

While doing all these, we had some trouble. We had to remove the cuttings from the board once because the boss want the background changed. That was when a mess happened. We forgot that the cuttings had double sided tape on them, and the damn double sided tape were strong. We accidentally stick those cuttings to each other. Damn. Good thing that it was laminated, but we still took a long time to separate  it and clean the double sided tape marks. We had to use thinner too -_-

On the third day, we took the KTM to KL Central and I ate McDonald's Breakfast. /w\
Was so delicious, I LOVE McD BREAKFAST <3 hahahhaha.="" p="">But we ended getting late around 15-20 minutes :x
But no one said anything lol. Well, maybe that was cause I already informed them we'll be late.

We start being promoter that day. We had to take the sign and stand at our given station. Mine was beside an escalator next to a BMW Road Show haha. I liked my station, because the BMW Road Show was playing awesome music, and for some reason the bass guitar sounds really obvious in all the songs. I spend my time analyzing bass lines in songs lol. And working at the same time of course xD

Then there's one time, the boss tried to find me but I wasn't there ._.
I was up at the Expo telling  the boss to contact a management because and Exhibitor told me too, but when  I went down I got lost. I got to LG instead of G, and I stupidly walked a whole round trying to find my station haha. At the same time, my boss went to my station but couldn't find me, so he went down to LG to try and find me. I saw him, and I'm like, ' shit shit shit' and then I turned the opposite direction to avoid him hahahah. Then after the boss went up again, I realized I'm on the wrong floor and ran all the way back to my station lol. When I reached, Crystal called me asking me where am I and that the boss asked her to contact me hahahahah. I told her I'm at my station, and that I knew that he was trying to find me lolol. Then the boss came to find me, but surprisingly he didn't ask any question, just asked how am I doing so far O__O
So nice haha.

Oh, and the people in Viva Home are so much friendlier than Jusco Cheras Selatan. Most of them smile and say thank you! Though none treat me Nescafe /___\ (lol)
Anyway, we had shift. Crystal and I were on the first shift, after that we went up to look after the registration counter instead. We just sit at the counter, and gives out forms to costumer to fill. Easy as that haha.

The fourth day was kinda same as the third day.Except we literally become walking signboard haha.
Crystal suggested we walk around the mall instead because that will create more attention. (Actually, standing at the same place was boring. And the boss could easily find us and see whether we're working or not. And by walking around the boss won't be able to find us and we could take more short breaks :x )

 On the last day, Crystal can't make it to work since she had to attend her University's Orientation. Kar Hao replaced her. On the last day it was more boring, because the boss wants more promoters. That means more and longer shift promoting /_\

So, I walked the whole LG, G, and 1st floor and visited every single toilet. :x

Each interior design in the toilet is different, and I went around comparing which is nicer lololol. Yep, I was bored to that point. Then I also took pictures with the other promoters cause we're all bored and we have no working mood anymore.

Then we wandered to a site where all the shops are under renovation, and we caught that Kar Hao sitting there and sleeping or playing with his phone =A=

And oh, during the whole duration of promoting, at least 6-7 people asked me where is Giant.

On the last day when it was almost time for the Expo to close, there's some problem with 2 costumers. The Expo ends at 9pm but because of the stupid matter, we had to go home around 11pm hmmmph -_- But we used the time chit chatting with each other.

I got to know the Chairman's son during that time too, actually he was there already before the expo started, but for some reason we did not talk to each other lol, maybe cause I felt he was 'little boss'?
Hahhahahahahaa. Seems funny now.

He's actually a fan on anime lol, and he's from Singapore. When someone brought up the topic of Facebook, he said we all sure can't find him, and then he show us his Facebook. He's using a Japanese name lol. I just read it out loud and he stare and me like, 'ehhhh?! how did you....'
lololol. Duh, I studied Japanese xD

That was when we started chatting haha.
Then we all added each other on Facebook and stuff. Lol.
Then I get my salary, and I leave.
That's all. Hahhahahahaha.

 Overall nice job, if I have the chance I'll surely work with them again. :)

Extremely late post; Miracle Hair Expert promoter

It's almost a month since I worked there.
This is actually an unexpected job, Bryan just messaged me one day telling me that there's a job at Jusco Cheras Selatan, from 1st May to 5th May. and I stupidly applied without knowing what the hell I'll be selling.
What an idiot I am. -_-

This is actually one of the worst jobs I came across, maybe partly it was because of my own stupidity.

Let me begin from the start. I applied around 3 days before the job think, but I didn't get any reply. So meh, I didn't bother. Till around the night on 30th April, which is the day before 1st May. I got a call, saying that they just need me to work one day, which is only on Labor Day to replace the promoter.

I'm like, uh, okay, since I didn't have anything to do. Might as well get some money. So I agreed.
I then found out that I have to be selling first trial hair care vouchers. At the moment I'm like, 'screw....' since I know that it'll be hard to sell. But since I thought I'll only be working for a day, okay then, why not give it a shot.

I managed to sell 2 vouchers on that day. Our supervisor was there the whole day, and she taught me what we need to know to be able to sell.

Mind you, it wasn't easy to sell. Let me brief you a little lol.

I was taught how to use this thing, it's a device for scanning the scalp.
And let me show you something disgusting.

These are my hair. And the redness is my blood, since there's a wound on my head.

Well, I had to give costumer's free scalp analysis in order to get more costumer. And imagine I had to touch different people's hair every time. Fuck. =A=
I'm cringing at the memory lol.

Well, every time we analyze their scalp, we'll tell them that their pores are clogged, and that their hair is very oily. Or they have dandruff. It's shown by the device, but every freaking person have the same problems, even me and Crystal. And I'm beginning to suspect that it's just a very minor normal common problem, no big deal. But we're using these points to get the costumer to buy the vouchers.
So I feel like I'm telling lies all the time :/
Makes me feel bad.  
 
Okay, continue with my story, after the first day, the supervisor called Crystal (she was working with me too) and asked if we're free the next few days. Crystal said yes, then the supervisor said that she'll fire the actual promoter and hire us instead.

We're like whut? But then, it kinda happened so fast, I had no idea what actually happened.
....All I know is that I have go to work again the next day, and the coming few days lol.
But since the first day I worked there was okay, I thought I'd just continue.
WHAT A BIG MISTAKE THAT WAS.


On the second day, I found out from the promoter in the next booth that the two supposedly promoters that we replaced did not work yesterday because the company did not give them double salary because they have to work on Labor Day. Looking back, I feel stupid. Lol. Should have demanded double pay too.

And I fell sick on the second day FML. I tried working, but I have no mood at all. All I wanted to do was sit and stare into space. So I called my supervisor and told her I'll be going home early, around 4pm. I then called stupid bro to ask him to fetch me, but he fucking told me he was dota-ing and he need some time. Dafuq. I felt like I was dying and he told me to wait cause he's dota-ing. And he said 30 minutes to finish the game. By the time he finish and reached me it'll be around 45-50 minutes. I can't wait that long, I felt I was about to faint lol. So I called uncle instead. Uncle could fetch me, so I called bro again to tell him he doesn't need to come anymore. Then he fucking dare to scold me, saying why the hell can't I decide and that he said that in the previous call he said he'll only take a while.

....HELLO?! Fuck you. How is 30 minutes a while lol. I scold him back on the spot, then he said nevermind, he's coming now, told me to call uncle and tell him no need to fetch me anymore.
So I called. And after that I went to the restroom to wait for bro to reach, and I cried.
I'm already feeling like shit, then to feel that a stupid dota game is more important than me is stupid. Some more got scolded for stupid thing. Lol.

So that's the story on the second day. On the third day, it was quite shitty too. Crystal managed to sell 1 voucher, and I sold none. There was no one in the mall cause it's a weekday. And we felt pressured too, cause the stupid supervisor told as that we have to hit a sale target, because she fucking lied to the big boss about how many vouchers were sold the previous days and we need to cover up.
And we can't sell much since there's no fucking people in the mall. Dafuq.

Screw the supervisor. That was when I really fucking start to hate this job. I felt like everything there was a lie and everything we say and do is a lie and I'm fucking fed up with touching people's oily hair. Yuck. And a lot of the people there is fucking snobbish and ignores you like you're invisible or they fucking glare at you.

Stupid people. I was smiling nicely and asking nicely, can't you even give a simple smile, or say, no thank you? You parent never teach you any manners is it? Faggots.
Lol getting so fired up again just by fucking recalling.

Anyway, on the fourth day it wasn't so bad. It's Saturday, there's a lot of people. I managed to sell 9 vouchers that day. Crystal sold the same amount too.

On the last day, I refuse to really work hard anymore. I had enough lol, and it was General Election Day. No one was in the mood. Crystal and I just work half-heartedly. There was no supervisor or boss that day, until around 5pm. But then even with the boss there we kinda chit chat to him.

And oh, on the last day, there's a freaking customer that reminds me of a dude that confessed to me before. Fuck. That dude that confessed to me was annoying, doesn't understand common sense and gesture and reminds me of a pervert. (Even though he's probably not lol) and the stupid costumer was exactly the same. Screw screw screw. It takes all my will to keep myself from punching that dude face hahaha. But he bought a voucher though. So meh, nevermind, at least there's a commission.

THEN HE CAME BACK. Wtf.
When I saw him walking back I just ask Crystal to take over for me lol. I walk away. Can't stand him anymore -_-
Arrgghhh bad memories. -_____-

Anyway, after the last day, YAY!!!

Or not so yay. Because fuck this shit, I haven't gotten my salary yet. And it's already a fucking month. I tried calling a lot of time, no answers. And worse, now I can't contact at all. Fuck this shit.
Screw them screw them. But then today Crystal managed to contact one of the supervisor's colleagues, and the colleague said that he'll help us look into it. So just hope for then best for now.
If really no, I'll fucking go down to their roadshow now which is in Kepong and make a bug fiss there. >:(

Don't mess with me hmmmph.

So yeah, that's it, a shitty job.
The only good thing is that there's commission and bonus which I got paid on the spot. (Thank god for that).

And oh, another good thing is that on the first day, a costumer ( not even exactly a costumer, they didn't even purchase anything) randomly belanja me Nescafe because I answered some of their questions OAO They're a couple, so nice QwQ

Well, that's about it I guess.
Hope I'll get my salary soon.
